Off to a new start...

Welcome, and thank you for stopping by to follow my new path in life. Just to warn you, I will use cheezy lines now and then, and I apologise in advance ;)

I thought this would be a great way to try something new, and seeing as how I have never blogged before, or decided to just go on a whim and really get into photography, and possibly a career change, why not just go for the whole shabang!? I have always loved photography, and have always wanted a good quality camera. I asked, that instead of Christmas gifts or Birthday gifts, I wanted $$ to put towards a descent Digital SLR, and saved and saved… It’s not an extravagant one by any means, but it’s something for me to learn on, and build up from, so I welcome it with open arms :)

Since I have no real idea how to blog properly, and am afraid that I will babble on and on, I’ll keep this fairly short. I felt that by diving into my love of photography, (which seems to be getting more and more popular these days with all the wonderful technology available to us) and being outdoors working with the most amazing animals I can imagine, I am hoping to really develop (that was punny) this together into a career change. This is HUGE for me, seeing as I have always found it a struggle to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I love the idea of the fresh air, the country surroundings, and my own schedule, where I can spend time with my family when I want to.

Out of all of this, I would like to thank my dear friend Kari, for getting me involved in the horse world. It was long overdue. I missed it like crazy, and love that my husband is right there with me, wanting to learn more about horses, as I have taken on a liking to his passions. Lachlan, my breath of life, loves animals (he gets that from me) and he is so gentle and loving of them. He respects them, and while he has so much to learn, I don’t think he will have any issues in life as long as he never changes.

So, Thank YOU all once again for your support and love, and I can’t wait for you to follow me as I learn and grow. I will post a selection of images from each session to post, and hope that you check in from time to time. I am on facebook as well if that is easier to follow, but my written posts won’t be as detailed there. I will post more current updates on there as well.
